Terms of Service — Qkemi

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Qkemi application (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of the Service

Qkemi is a social chat platform that connects users for random conversations. The App uses Firebase for user authentication, cloud data storage, and related services, and Google AdMob to display advertisements.

3. Account Registration

To use Qkemi, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Eligibility

By using Qkemi, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age. Individuals under the age of 13 are not permitted to use the App.

5. User Conduct

When using Qkemi, you agree not to:

  • Post illegal, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, vulgar, or otherwise harmful content.
  • Harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse other users.
  • Use hate speech or discriminatory language.
  • Upload sexually explicit or otherwise inappropriate photos or content.
  • Use the App for spam, unauthorized advertising, or commercial purposes.
  • Infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Attempt to bypass security measures or gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems.
  • Create multiple accounts after your account has been suspended or banned.
  • Collect or store personal information about other users without their consent.
  • Impersonate another person, organization, or entity.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit through the App. By posting content, you grant Qkemi a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, display, reproduce, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. Qkemi is not responsible for user-generated content.

7. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your account at any time, with or without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or if we determine such action is necessary to protect the App, its users, or our services.

Users may also block other users using the App’s built-in blocking features.

8. Intellectual Property

The Qkemi App, including its software, source code, design, graphics, trademarks, logo, and original content, is the intellectual property of the Qkemi developers and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Qkemi shall not be liable for:

  • Any damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the App.
  • Content posted by users.
  • The actions or behavior of other users.
  • Service interruptions, bugs, outages, or technical failures.
  • Loss of data or unauthorized access to your account.

10. Advertisements

Qkemi displays advertisements through Google AdMob. We are not responsible for the content of advertisements or for any third-party websites or services accessed through those advertisements.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

The App may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party services. We do not own, control, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or services provided by these third parties.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kosovo. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Kosovo.

These Terms of Service are provided in both Albanian and English. In the event of any inconsistency between the two versions, the Albanian version shall prevail for users located in Kosovo and Albania.
