This is TicTic. The company’s products TicTic and subsequent versions (“TicTic”, “we” or “our”) are incorporated into and bound by our terms of use. In this privacy policy, we refer to our products and services as “services”. Please read on to learn more about our data processing practices. Your use of the service means that you agree to the terms of this privacy policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this privacy policy, please do not use the service.


Information we collected:

When you install the service on your device and register with TicTic, your personal identity information may be collected during the download process of the service (based on the requirements during the download process). To register with TicTic, you need to provide your mobile number, city location, gender and name, depending on the device used for the service. You can also provide personally identifiable information, but this is optional. When you log in with a third-party account, we may collect other information you provide us below (see “your user profile”).

In addition, when you install services on your device and register with TicTic, you may be asked to allow us to access your address book. If you agree, we will have the right to access the contact information (name, phone number, e-mail and third-party ID) in the address book on the device used for the service (excluding notes or other personal comments), and store it on our servers to help you use the service, for example, by synchronizing TicTic contacts between different devices. If you do not want TicTic to store this information, you can change your account settings in the TicTicapplication at any time. However, some features may not be available without this information.

TicTic may also collect non-personally identifiable information, such as country of residence and preferences. In addition, TicTic may collect and store information about how you and others use the service and website, including matching data, number of matches, duration, messages, region, device usage, IP address, device features, bandwidth, browsing statistics, network type, and traffic flow.


User Content:

TicTic allows you to share text messages, photos, screenshots, videos, and other communications with other users. If you choose to do so, such content will be stored on our servers. Once shared, we may not be able to remove it or prevent others from accessing it. By sharing content, you understand that you may lose control over how it is used and that it may become publicly available. TicTic is not responsible for any misuse of shared content.

TicTic may also collect user-generated content such as photos, screenshots, comments, and other materials. Your photos may be captured by other users using TicTic features and may be shared with third-party platforms (e.g. Facebook). You can change third-party sharing options in the {{ TicTic }} settings.

If the service crashes or encounters errors, TicTic may collect error reports to improve stability. These reports generally do not include personally identifiable information.

Unless otherwise stated, TicTic does not rent or sell your personal information to third parties without your consent.


Who we share information with:

  • TicTic affiliated companies and internal teams for service improvement
  • Third-party service providers under confidentiality obligations
  • Advertisers or partners in aggregated or anonymous form

Publicly shared content may be reshared by others. Deleted content may remain in caches or archives or be retained by third parties.


How we use the information:

  • Verify identity
  • Enable service features
  • Facilitate communication between users
  • Send administrative notifications
  • Provide relevant content
  • Improve services and prevent fraud
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Protect rights, property, and safety
  • Support business transactions (mergers, acquisitions, asset sales)

Your user profile:

Profile information may be shared with other TicTic users. You can edit or manage your profile at any time. If you register via Facebook, TicTic may store your Facebook ID and collect permitted data such as name, email, profile photo, friends list, and birthday. You may block other users at any time.


Data access and deletion:

You can manage or delete your data through app settings or by uninstalling the service. Upon request, TicTic will make reasonable efforts to delete your account data, except where content has been shared with others or retention is legally required.


Service providers:

TicTic may share personal information with third-party providers only to deliver services (e.g. SMS or email verification). These providers are required to protect your information.


Outbound links:

TicTic is not responsible for third-party websites or services linked through the app.


Safety:

Protecting user privacy is a priority for TicTic. We use technical and organizational measures to protect information, but cannot guarantee absolute security. Your data may be stored or processed in any country where TicTic operates.


Age:

The service is not intended for users under 18 years oldTicTic does not knowingly collect personal information from minors.


Account information:

If you do not log in to TicTic for three consecutive months, any virtual coins or points may be cleared.


Change notice:

TicTic reserves the right to update this privacy policy at any time. Continued use of the service after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
