This is TicTic. The company’s products TicTic and subsequent versions (“TicTic”, “we” or “our”) are incorporated into and bound by our terms of use. In this privacy policy, we refer to our products and services as “services”. Please read on to learn more about our data processing practices. Your use of the service means that you agree to the terms of this privacy policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this privacy policy, please do not use the service.

Information we collected:

When you install the service on your device and register with TicTic, your personal identity information may be collected during the download and registration process (based on the requirements during the download process). To register with TicTic, you may need to provide your mobile number, city location, gender and name, depending on the device used for the service. You can also provide personally identifiable information, but this is optional. When you log in with a third-party account, we may collect other information you provide to us (see “your user profile”).

In addition, when you install services on your device and register with TicTic, you may be asked to allow us to access your address book. If you agree, TicTic may access contact information (name, phone number, e-mail and third-party ID) from your device’s address book and store it on our servers to help you use the service, such as synchronizing TicTic contacts across devices. If you do not want TicTic to store this information, you can disable this feature in the app settings, though some functions may not be available.

TicTic may also collect non-personally identifiable information, such as country of residence and preferences. We may also collect information about how you and others use the service, including matching data, usage duration, messages, device usage, IP address, network type, device features, and browsing statistics.

User content:

TicTic allows you to share text messages, photos, screenshots, videos, and other communications with other users. If you choose to do so, this content will be stored on our servers. Once shared, TicTic cannot fully control how others use or redistribute your content. You understand that shared content may become publicly available, and TicTic is not responsible for any misuse of information you choose to share.

TicTic may also collect user-generated content such as photos, screenshots, comments, and other materials created on the service. If other users capture or share your content using TicTic features, such content may also be shared with third-party platforms (e.g. social media). You can manage third-party sharing settings in TicTic settings.

If the service crashes or hangs, TicTic may collect error reports to improve service stability. These reports typically do not include personally identifiable information.

Information sharing:

We do not rent or sell your personal information without your consent.

TicTic may share information with:

  • Affiliated companies and internal teams to provide and improve services;
  • Third-party service providers (under confidentiality obligations) who help operate the service;
  • Advertisers or partners, but only in aggregated or anonymous form;
  • Legal authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property.

Any information you choose to make public may be viewed and shared by other users. Even if content is deleted, copies may remain in caches or be retained by third parties.

  • Verify your identity;
  • Enable communication between users;

Your user profile:

Information in your TicTic profile may be shared with your contacts. You can edit or control profile visibility at any time in the app. If you register via third-party platforms (e.g. Facebook), TicTic may collect permitted data such as name, email, profile picture, and friends list. You may block other users at any time.

Data access and deletion:

You can manage or delete your data via app settings or by uninstalling the service. Upon request, TicTic will make reasonable efforts to delete your account data, except where retention is required by law or where content has been shared with others.

Service providers:

TicTic may use third-party providers for services such as SMS or email verification. These providers are required to use your information only to deliver services to TicTic and to protect your data.
